Namur Skatepark

If you're ever in the Namur region of Belgium, make sure you stop off at one of the countries finest concrete parks to date. Designed and built by 360° Architects and the Brusk Guerillas (with Team Payne cheering from the sidelines), this gem is one hot date for any four wheeles affecianados.

The skatepark is situated to the south of Namur in a place called Jambes, at the very end of Avenue Baron de Lhoneux (8).

The park hosts some pretty interesting locals. You've got this one guy there say 6 foot, black, shaved head, anyway he can skate both regular and switch exactly the same, when Wheelbite asked "which way do you skate?" he replied "goofy", which means he laid down a switch benihana and a switch shuv tail grab over the bump. Click here to see what the Euro Volcom team get acquainted with Namur.

To get there from Namur station, cross the road opposite the station and take the buses 2/ or 9 to Plage d'Amée, Jambes. Click here for Mappy directions. You will not regret it!
